Detoxify
What does detoxification mean?
People talk about detoxification, but what that means and what it means is something that very few people know and understand.
From a scientific point of view, detoxification of the body using detox measures is not necessary. A healthy human body cleanses itself. It excretes undesirable substances through the liver, kidneys, intestines, skin and breathing. My 27 years of professional experience have taught me otherwise.
Detoxification stands for: (the physiological metabolism of toxic substances as part of biotransformation). Medical measures to remove toxic substances from the body of living beings.
The following organs in the body are responsible for detoxification:
The liver processes fat-soluble substances. These are then transported to the intestines and the unusable waste products are excreted with the stool. The intestines themselves are also detoxification organs. Everything that enters our body with food is checked and filtered in the intestines . The unusable residue is then excreted as already mentioned. The kidneys filter the water-soluble waste from the blood and remove it from the body with urine. Another lesser-known detoxification organ is the lymphatic system . It collects bacteria, bacterial toxins, dead cells, etc. from the intercellular fluid. It takes this to the lymph nodes, where the waste products are destroyed. The skin and lungs (breathing) are also important detoxification organs.
How does poison get into a body?
Gases, vapors and dust can enter the body through breathing. Dust and liquid can either be swallowed or enter the body through the skin, thereby irritating the skin.
Here are some examples: Heavy metals that enter the body in the form of exhaust fumes. Medications that are absorbed through body openings or skin. Components of pesticides in fruit, cigarette smoke (camium), mercury in dental fillings, aluminum in cosmetics, and much more.
Duration of detoxification:
There are different opinions about how long a detoxification process takes. In my experience, it depends on the type of stress and the person's constitution. If the person is young, fit and has a well-functioning metabolism, the duration of the therapy will certainly be different than for a sick, old person. There is also a big difference whether medication or heavy metal contamination is to be detoxified. However, it is always important that the contamination can be proven. So that it is clear what exactly is to be detoxified.
Evidence of contamination:
Toxic substances can be detected in urine, blood or hair.
Symptoms of harmful toxins in the body:
The body cannot eliminate such pollutants well on its own. Instead, it stores a large portion in the connective tissue, bones, teeth, brain, liver and kidneys. There, the toxic metals often damage not only the cell structures over the years - they also burden the immune system and make it difficult to absorb important nutrients.
Consequences:
- Tiredness and exhaustion
- Depression
- Allergies
- Obesity
- Inflammation of any kind (joints, gums...)
- Difficulty concentrating
- Cancer
- Gastrointestinal problems
- Headache
- Muscle pain
- Skin rashes
Discharge of stress:
There is no standard treatment. As already mentioned, you first need to find out what exactly needs to be eliminated and what symptoms the person is having. This means you should always get an examination first and not go by the feeling of a therapist or doctor. However, I would like to list a few remedies ( nutritional supplements) and options that are important for elimination.
Liver: dandelion, chicory, sage, milk thistle, artichoke extract, turmeric, nettle, burdock root, lemongrass, mate leaf tea.

The instructions for detoxification treatments are not uniform. But the following are typically omitted:

- Milk and dairy products
- White flour products
- Processed foods
- Sugar
- Foods containing gluten
- Salt

Instead, fresh fruits and vegetables, whole foods, nuts, seeds and fresh herbs are consumed.
