Bioberberina is a recently developed natural nutraceutical complex whose functions are based on a synergistic mechanism between berberine and silymarin. Bioberberine has a high application potential resulting from the promising properties of berberine. Berberine is a natural, bitter isoquinoline alkaloid with an intense yellow color, widely used in traditional Chinese medicine. It is extracted from several plant species, including Berberis Hydrastis canadensis (goldenseal) and Xanthorhiza simplicissima (goldenseal). Numerous scientific studies seem to confirm that berberine has beneficial effects on the blood lipid profile by promoting blood sugar stability and helping to lower "bad" LDL cholesterol.

Its benefits are achieved in particular thanks to a precise mechanism of action:

Why berberine in combination with silymarin?
Berberine has only one current limit to its use, which is its low bioavailability when taken orally. Silymarin comes to our aid because it improves the intestinal absorption of berberine by acting as a carrier. This innovative combination of berberine and silymarin has therefore proven to be more effective than berberine alone.
